South Wales ONE was born as ACJ Radio in April 2020.   In December 2021 we rebranded to better reflect our community and South Wales ONE was born.  Our main target area is South Wales but we have listeners across the UK and beyond.  We are a community internet radio station registered as a non-profit company with Companies House.  As an internet radio station we are available at www.southwalesone.com on your computer, smartphone and tablet as well as on smart speakers.  We are not currently available on traditional radios or DAB.

As a station our music policy is 80s and 90s, though we are happy to look at specialist shows outside of these decades.  For example we have an Indie show and a Rock show that play music from all decades.  We are currently a team of 12 presenters with the majority of our live shows at the moment being in the evenings.  During the day we currently play mostly ad-free 80s and 90s music with a little Noughties. 

We are looking for volunteer presenters who are able to commit to at least 1hr per week reliably and are fun, friendly and have a passion for music.  If this sounds like you, please complete the form at the bottom of this page and we’ll be in touch.  You can see the currently available slots in the tabs below.  The (N) slots are negotiable.  These are where we currently have guest shows we could possibly move for the right presenter.
